I'm Broke, But If It's For Kate Moss.....

So Kate Moss has proven to be quite resourceful. Why buy paint when you've got makeup swag and vials of blood lying around? Here is her self portrait artpiece, sold for 33,600 pounds (POUNDS, PEOPLE!) which she created using nothing but lipstick and her ex, Pete Doherty's blood. It was estimated to sell for about 45,000 pounds but alas, people have other financial priorities during this economic turmoil. Is it me, or does that look NOTHING like her?

Blood, Sweat, & Tears

For our fashion video shoot this past weekend, I was asked to try to come up with a few "crazy hats." You should have SEEN the original inspiration. GENIUS but IMPOSSIBLE. Thoughts of rummaging the streets for "artistic trash" wore me thin.
Thankfully, initial emotions of panic and despair were quickly wiped away as soon as I got a moment to sit down and sketch.

Here are some outtakes of the shoot that proudly showcase these headpieces. And a special thanks to another Genius member, Harri- for without him, I would be shellacking til the break of dawn.

OYYYYYYYY Hollywood!

Watch intently as actress Anastasia Griffith (from the Emmy nominated TV show, Damages) makes her virginal jouney to the red carpet at the Emmy's this Sunday. Because I said so.

And because she was styled by TG's Angella N. And you gotta support.

A mini contest to her Emmy gown, between designers Thuy and Luca Luca, was put on by the lovely people at TV Guide (the show, not the pamphlet) and while it was good spirited and all, only one winner would arise. Look above for a not-so-subtle preview. The fresh and fun spirited acid-yellow dress suited the actress beautifully, and with the special finishing touches - well, she didn't look too shabby.
