Barbie by Comme des Garcons
Barbie gets dressed by Comme des Garcons, wearing Rei Kawabuko’s latest ’Jingle flower’ print. Available at Dover Street Market. I think the floral print is a little large for her frame, frankly, but who am I to judge? Check it out here.
aren't people like this just terrible?

Ugly Betty
Interior Design Magazine just did a lovely article called The Beauty of Ugly Betty about the extraordinary set design on ABC's hit show. Accompanying the article is a gallery of set images, many of which feature our fashion images (they are used as covers for the show's MODE magazine as well as portfolio images for visiting photographers, etc). Working with the Ugly Betty team since the beginning of the program has been wonderful, and having seen the sets in person I am super happy to see the designers get the recognition and the amazing coverage that they so deserve. Yay Ugly Betty! And that's our MODE cover of super friend Laurel Stoval @ NY Models in the upper right hand corner. Styled by Angella N., makeup by Joy Fennel.

KW + Lola Dupre
I recently collaborated on a fashion story with amazing artist Lola Dupre. I shot some photographs of my model friend Viivi and sent off a bunch of prints of each image to Lola in the UK. She cut them up and produced a series of super cool reworkings. Check Mag-Mag in Jan 2010 for the full story.

love
i love these images by Ryan McGinley. He gets a lot of crap from people but i think he's good. This particular series reminds me a lot of "The Descent," which was a very scary movie in my opinion.

seagull says what up?
i love this image of a seagull saying "WASS UP?" via ffffound.com, there is no photographer credit but it comes via National Geographic's International Photography Contest 2009.
i am so getting this right now
What cat DOESN'T need a ski chalet? Via MTL Designers. Only $24! I consider that a real bargain. That moosehead is serious. Apart from the chalet, the package contains 3 cardboard balls, a textured cardboard carpet to place inside the chalet which cats will love to massage their paws on, 4 rubber anti-slip mats to stick under the chalet in order to prevent the cat from displacing it, 1 assembly guide and finally 4 decorative ornaments which are interchangeable to be placed on the façade: an antler, a fish, a bird and label in which the name of the animal can be written. Apparently the Chalet is also fat-cat proof, which is good in our house. Yay.

Pomposity in motion.
Someone asks Unkle Karl to draw a picture. What does he draw? HIMSELF. And then it all gets set to some really pompous opera. Enjoy! This really is a piece of work. My favorite is the audience.

change of season
My amazing friend Clinton had a launch party for my favorite label, Boudicca, at his super fab store Change of Season this past Saturday. Angie recently got me a lovely Margiela necklace there and I went along with Laurel and Saara Fleur to check out the new goods. Good luck finding us in the photo comp above. But for sure visit the store when you're in NYC -- the best deals on high end brands in town. No joke. Real talk. 341 E. 9th St NYC.
