Little Chickie is doing great. She likes corn and kale and barley. Our cat Mr. Grumpy (who is not grumpy at all, he is very friendly) has become friends with Chickie and is pictured here hanging out with her in our yard. Chickie is scheduled to travel to the Farm Sanctuary next Friday to make a new home with other chicken friends, but now Harri and I have fallen in love with her and Harri wants to keep her. Today she sat on my head for a long time while I read the newspaper. We are staying informed, Chickie and me.
